A RUMOR OF GUILT

During an early October snowstorm, a small aircraft crashes into the icy waters of Glacier National Park’s Lake McDonald. Seven years later, a recreational diver finds its wreckage in the lake’s murky depths. When the plane is exhumed it becomes evident that this was no accident, and Sheriff’s Deputy Mick Linnell is charged with the task of finding out who murdered real estate developer Paul Scioni, who had been one of the most disliked men in Flathead County. With so many suspects to choose from, any trail that Linnell follows may turn out to be only A Rumor of Guilt.

Love Tom Bernstein's style of prose. His descriptions take you to Montana. I now have it on my bucket list. Mystery, suspense and surprise. I've read hundreds of crime and suspense books; very rarely am I surprised. Can't wait for his next book. Highly recommend his books.
